Meet the Providers

I grew up in North Dakota and Wisconsin, spending my youth helping on my grandparent’s farm or playing basketball and tennis. I went to West Point for college, where I added rugby to my list of sports. I was in the Army for 11 years after graduation, including two trips to Iraq and one to Kuwait. Now I have settled in Aurora, Colorado. I enjoy hiking and doing wood working projects with my family as well as giving lots of attention to my two dogs.
I was initially assigned to military intelligence while in the Army, but applied to PA school because I have always been interested in health and helping people! I served as an active duty Army PA for 4 years before switching over to focus on military family members/dependents/retirees with Evans Army Community Hospital in Ft. Carson, CO. I believe each part of life offers its own blessings and challenges.
I believe emotional and behavioral health is the foundation to every other aspect of our lives. It is amazing what can be achieved when your mind is optimized for your individual needs. I do my very best to support and inform each patient’s unique health journey.

If you’re in a challenging time in your life and desire some support navigating the waters, it’s my privilege to partner with you. My goal is to support you with compassion, objective listening, supportive guidance, healing strategies, and hope. Many of us move through life carrying significant emotional burdens that hold us back from living a fuller life.

I have lived in Colorado for a little over 2 years now. I have a passion for clinical operations and healthcare management. Being part of a team and organization that serves the community is my passion. There are many different pieces to a well-functioning clinic, and I am glad to be contributing with Family Care Center. I love to hang out with friends, go to thrift stores, and try new restaurants and coffee shops!

I want you to feel comfortable and at ease to tell your story and work on the current challenges taking place in your life. I want this to be a team effort and establish the goals you are wanting. My role is to provide comfort and support, as you develop and discover through the therapeutic process. The most important part of building a therapeutic relationship is to know that I am not the expert of your life. I use empathy and create a
non-judgmental environment, allowing humor and the collaborative effort to work towards realistic goals.

All journeys begin with a single step, and we can take that step together. Above all else, my goal as a mental health provider is to make sure that you feel understood while offering treatment plans that are personalized, evidence-based, and aligned with your comfort level. I will be your advocate and together we can get you feeling like your best self.

I was raised a Military dependent in the Air Force. We were stationed in many different countries and cities throughout my growing up years. My favorite place was Panama Canal Zone because our back yard was the jungle and you could hear the animals at night. My hobbies and passions are traveling to explore different cultures and scenery. We've created a great family environment here at the Parker clinic, which is something I really love.
